About this file

This is a federal procurement pricing template for fresh produce and eggs supplied to an institutional food service operation. The solicitation requires all-or-none bidding across 16 line items categorized as eggs, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables, with estimated weekly quantities that may vary based on institutional needs.

The required items include 495 cases of Grade A medium eggs; 980 cases of bananas; 150,741 individual units of assorted fresh fruit (no citrus); and numerous fresh vegetables totaling thousands of pounds or cases, including cabbage (8,850 lbs), carrots (42 bags), celery (1,680 lbs), cucumbers (84 cases), green leaf lettuce (2,800 lbs), salad mix (457 cases), onions (12,600 lbs), sweet peppers (5,040 lbs), sweet potatoes (322 bags), white potatoes (1,397 bags), tomatoes (308 cases), green onions (56 cases), cilantro (56 cases), and additional items with detailed U.S. grade specifications. Vendors must provide pricing per unit and total costs for all items and may not substitute specifications. Products do not need to be U.S. or Canadian origin unless specified. The solicitation emphasizes strict compliance with National Menu Specifications, noting that failure to comply will result in quoted items being deemed non-responsive for award consideration.
