About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for convection ovens at Travis Air Force Base in California. The solicitation seeks two Vulcan Hart Electric Convection Ovens, model VC44ED or equal, for a patient tray assembly area and production area to produce meals for patients and hospital staff. The ovens must be placed in the existing locations, with exposed flex allowed from the unit to the wall but not actual conduit. Installation will be handled by the contractor, while removal of old ovens will be done by the customer. A background check and two forms of government ID will be required for contractor employees. The location is on the first floor near a freight elevator and truck dock that contractors can use. Ovens will be delivered to a warehouse for installation on site.
