Statement of Work for
60 MDTS/Patient Food Operations Vulcan Hart Electric Convection Oven, Model VC44ED
Description: The Vulcan Hart Electric Convection Oven, Model VC44ED is a double deck electric convection oven to be placed in the patient tray assembly area and production area to produce meals for patients and hospital staff. This is a “Brand Name or Equal’ request.
Contractor shall deliver the following:
1. Must include equipment uncrating, stacking, and set-up in 2 places.
2. Must include installation, parts & labor to run the electrical to connect them in the 480 V already existing on site.
3. Must include removing and recapping of the two existing sprinklers (no relocation or certification is required) at the area where these ovens will be installed.
4. Removal of the old ovens will not be included. This will be performed by our in-house maintenance prior to the delivery of the new ovens, facilities work order has been requested.
5. Location of work will be performed at David Grant Medical Center (1st Floor, Dining
Facility, approximately 500 feet from the loading dock).
6. Ship to Address for delivery of the items. David Grant Medical Center, 101 Bodin Circle

7. Personnel performing work on this contract shall have Two Forms of government issued
Identification Cards and Background Check.
8. Oven
8.1. Must be electric, 480 V, & 3 Phase to match our existing electrical power.
8.2. Must be double deck electric convection oven.
8.3. Must have 60-minute timer with audible alarm.
8.4. Must include 5 oven racks per oven.
8.5. Must be stainless steel exterior for easier maintenance.
8.6. Enclosed compartment must be porcelain enamel on steel interior.
8.7. Must be on 4 casters (2 locking).
8.8. Must be energy efficient.
8.9. Must have one-year limited parts and labor warranty.
9. Period of Performance – 60 days after the contract is signed.
10. Payment - Vendor must submit invoice to DFAS only upon completion of the contract (this includes delivery of equipment and installation).
