OPRD SOLICITATION NO. 8995
ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY
The following information is being provided to potential Proposers for clarification purposes in accordance with Section 3.3.2 Questions / Requests for Clarification of the Solicitation Document.
CLARIFICATIONS:
1) QUESTION: What types of data on Oregon heritage sites, properties, events, and organizations would the Department of Parks and Recreation be able to share with the selected bidder?
ANSWER: The Oregon parks and Recreation Department’s Heritage Division does have databases related to various heritage organizations, interests, and designations that have participated in our programs. We would use those databases to generate lists of contacts related to this study.
2) QUESTION: Would the Department of Parks and Recreation be able to distribute a survey or other communications relevant to this study to its contact list of heritage organizations in the state? What is the approximate number of organizations included in this list? Is the list representative of the different types of heritage organizations that exist in Oregon?
ANSWER: We would be able to distribute a survey that is either targeted to select lists of organizations by type OR broadly spread through our listserv, which has over 1,300 subscribers.
3) QUESTION: Considering the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on travel and tourism patterns, has the Department of Parks and Recreation selected a specific time period during which the impacts of the state’s heritage assets should be studied? (E.g. 2019 vs. 2020 vs. 2021).
ANSWER: We look forward to seeing what is proposed based on the experience and knowledge of proposers.
