About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for courtesy docks at Pymatuning State Park's Padanaram Boat Launch. The project requires the factory assembly and delivery of two steel truss frame docks measuring 4 feet wide by 20 feet long with WearDeck decking (gray) and two aluminum gangways measuring 3 feet wide by 20 feet long with handrails. Each dock shall include a minimum of two 10-inch cleats, four 3-inch pipe holders, and commercial grade vinyl dock edging. The frame specifications call for 12-inch tall heavy-duty galvanized steel truss construction using 1-inch by 1-inch by 3/16-inch angle iron with pre-punched holes. Additional components include galvanized steel truss dock hardware, galvanized fasteners, stainless steel deck screws, polyethylene shell foam-filled floats for floatation, and 1-inch by 6-inch WearDeck marine-grade structural decking with a 24-inch center span. The delivery date is March 27, 2026, or sooner, to the Padanaram Boat Launch at 7250 Padanaram Road, Andover, Ohio 44003. All applicable warranties must be expressly stated in the bidder's response.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a line-item basis. All deliverables are F.O.B. Destination/Pre-Paid/Allowed, with the contractor bearing all freight costs and retaining all risk of loss until the state accepts the deliverables and title passes. Invoices must be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services with the assigned purchase order number and origin number (Origin-DNR-N05) and must include complete itemization of goods supplied, line charges, and a remit-to address matching state records. The purchase order is valid for goods and services received through June 30, 2027, with any goods or services received after that date requiring a new purchase order. No state of Ohio sales tax should be included on invoices.
