About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the essential repair requirements for F-16 C/D Accessory Drive Gearbox (ADG) and Jet Fuel Starter (JFS) components for the Department of the Air Force's Ogden Air Logistics Center. The PWS outlines comprehensive repair processes including complete disassembly, thorough inspection, cleaning, and restoration of components to a serviceable "A" condition, with the goal of bringing service life back to reconditioned items that resemble the originally manufactured units.

Key technical requirements include full repair/overhaul of ADG and JFS systems involving disassembly, paint removal, detailed inspection, and restoration using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The contractor must perform acceptance testing, meet specific marking and packaging requirements, and adhere to multiple technical orders and directives. The Air Force estimates approximately 50-305 ADG repairs and 50-395 JFS repairs annually, with parts identified by specific NSN and part numbers. The repair facility must be certified, maintain secure conditions, and provide accurate program data to identify and improve equipment and process anomalies.
