About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology Infrastructure Operations' VA Server Enterprise Endpoint Security (VASEES) solution. The PWS outlines requirements for a contractor to provide, deploy and maintain a Software as a Service (SaaS) cybersecurity host-based solution capable of supporting up to 750,000 physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted clients throughout the VA enterprise.
The base period includes program/project management and licensing for 75,000 servers, with a 3% year-over-year increase during four 12-month option periods. The solution must support multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux variants, Unix, and VMware across both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS and Azure). Key requirements include 99.9% solution availability, FedRAMP High authorization, 24x7x365 operational support, comprehensive monitoring and incident response capabilities, and integration with VA's enterprise logging solution. The contractor must provide training sessions, help desk support, and maintain documentation including standard operating procedures and system design documents. Five optional tasks are included for additional enterprise server/workstation licenses, support services, training, and transition support.
