About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a comprehensive HVAC compressor replacement project for the Land Dominance Center at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The project involves removing and replacing 39 HVAC compressors across 37 buildings, with specific requirements for installation including new compressors, refrigerant, filter dryers, sight glasses, and unit capacitors. The work must be performed by a licensed HVAC contractor within Georgia, with each compressor replacement following a detailed process of system shutdown, refrigerant recovery, electrical disconnection, and precise reinstallation procedures.
Key technical specifications include using Copeland Scroll Type compressors or approved equivalents, charging R22 systems with R421A refrigerant, and meeting strict industry standards. The project has a 45-day completion timeline, requires daily reporting to the Point of Contact (Michael Hall), and mandates work between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. The contractor must provide a 1-year warranty for materials and workmanship, with compressors receiving a 5-year warranty. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army Georgia Army National Guard under Solicitation Number W912JM25QA014, with all work to be performed in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
