About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the restoration of an audio/visual system in Dickens Hall (Building 49) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC, for the United States Air Force Honor Guard. The project is structured as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) procurement of services to repair and restore functionality to a critical A/V system that suffered hardware failures due to a recent power surge and screen degradation.
The primary objectives include restoring 100% system functionality to all components, including projector screen, projector, eight speakers, two subwoofers, CD player, three microphones (two handheld and one lapel), two cameras, camera controller, two touch screen control panels, and control rack. The contractor must ensure all components work together with clean, fully functional equipment and restored camera functionality. The work must be completed within 30 days after receipt of order, with operations conducted during normal business hours (0700-1600, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays), with any after-hours work requiring three days' advance coordination with the Technical Point of Contact. Additional requirements include training five Honor Guard personnel on system operation and basic diagnostics, providing a minimum one-year warranty on all newly provided hardware and installation labor, maintaining a clean work environment with proper disposal of debris off-base, and obtaining Civil Engineering approval from TSgt Lorenzo Dumas prior to equipment installation. Contractor personnel must comply with all JBAB base access and security badge requirements.
