PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT
Portable Restroom Trailers 09/21/2020 General.
The contractor shall provide three (3) portable restroom trailers to Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is an effort to provide sanitary restroom facilities to remote range locations that do not have access to running water.
Contract Type. This will be a Fixed Firm Price (FFP) contract.
Requirements.
The contractor shall provide the portable restroom trailers per required specifications.
Restroom trailers must have the following structural requirements: unibody steel frames, frame and tank undercoating, all walls and ceilings insulated, 2 entry/exit doors, rain gutters over each door, aluminum exterior and seamless aluminum roofs, must have rounded truss-strength roof, ¾” water connections, lockable frame skirt storage, 34” commercial doors, fold-up porch step assemblies, step assemblies have a top step at the same level as the interior floor of the trailer and handrail, must be OSHA approved.
Restroom trailers must come with spare tire.
Restroom trailer must come with the following safety features: step assemblies with handrails, DOT safety and light packages, electric break-a-way systems, LED exterior lights, night lights for entry/exit doors, electric brake systems, rain gutters over doors, weatherproof floors, and rubberized flooring.
Restroom trailers will be equipped with high efficiency AC, as well as cold weather packages that can insulate trailers effectively in up to ten degree Fahrenheit weather.
Restroom trailers must, at a minimum, have a 300 gal fresh water holding tank on two of the units.
Restroom trailers must include a waste tank that holds at least 600 gallons.
Contractor must provide a warranty on the portable restroom trailers to cover, at a minimum: 1 year warranty on trailers as a whole, 2 years on AC associated with trailers, 5 years for steel frame of trailers, and 10 years for axles of trailers The contractor will arrange for transportation of restroom trailer to ATC at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
Portable restroom trailers must comply to all OHSA regulations.
Contractor will provide all required manual or operating instructions needed to operate portable restroom trailers.
Delivery Schedule.
The contractor is responsible for transporting restroom trailers to ATC and all costs associated therein. The government will coordinate acceptance of trailers once on-site.
