About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the mechanical modification of Data Transfer Device (DTD) enclosures under contract DMEA 26-6G1, effective 1 July 2026.

The contractor shall modify a total of 200 DTD enclosures (100 each of part numbers MEA-204002 Side A and MEA-204003 Side B) from existing government-furnished inventory to accommodate new PCB designs and eliminate physical interferences. The work applies to enclosures used in F-22, C-130, C-5, and PMCIA data card systems. The government will provide 200 units of Case Side A (MEA-204002) and 200 units of Case Side B (MEA-204003), available on 7 July 2026. The contractor must modify 10 units of each enclosure type as first articles for government inspection and approval by DMEA before proceeding with the remaining 190 units of each type. For the Side B enclosures, the contractor shall remove and retain plastic frames for return to DMEA upon project completion. The contractor is responsible for all shipping costs and delivery of modified units to DMEA points of contact specified in Section 5.0. Additionally, the contractor shall provide comprehensive program management including administrative, technical, and financial management, maintain status reports on progress toward objectives, document all technical activities and issues, and deliver a final program summary comparing planned schedules and costs with actual performance. Technical specifications and detailed modification requirements are provided in government-supplied 3D models and 2D drawings dated 7 July 2026.
