About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for DataScribe Duplication System Support services at Robins Air Force Base, effective 23 December 2025. The contractor must provide scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, labor, travel, parts, and materials for the DataScribe Duplication System serving the 402d Software Engineering Group (SWEG).
Scheduled maintenance consists of four preventive maintenance (PM) visits annually at three-month intervals, coordinated with the System Manager. PM activities include system software upgrades, licensing updates, system optimization, corrective adjustments, lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of maintenance parts. Annual system certification must be performed for six line items supporting different DataScribe configurations, each with specific control units and drive combinations (tape drives, Blu-ray drives, floppy drives, DVD writers, and related equipment). Non-scheduled maintenance must be provided within 24 hours of notification with repair completion within 72 hours and maximum downtime of 5 working days. The contractor must provide two-level corrective maintenance support: Level One consists of telephone support with the government performing basic troubleshooting, and if unresolved within 48 hours, it escalates to Level Two requiring on-site dispatch within 24 hours and equipment restoration within 48 hours. Performance thresholds include four scheduled PMs during the performance year at three-month intervals, Level 1 repair within 48 hours, no more than two cleanliness violations per PM visit with correction before departure, and submission of trip/travel reports within seven calendar days of PM completion. Additional requirements include maintaining daily maintenance logs, assisting with critical data archival and storage, conducting end-of-visit assessments with the Contracting Officer's Representative, and compliance with comprehensive security, environmental management, safety, and quality assurance requirements specific to Robins AFB operations.
