About this file
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies announcing a federal contract opportunity for test instrumentation sensors used in aerial delivery impact assessment.
The solicitation (MICC-FH-033557) requires procurement of data acquisition systems and related components to measure shock and vibration forces during aerial delivery operations. The required items include: 36 Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) with minimum specifications including 2" x 2" x 2" housing, 500g shock rating, 10,000Hz sample rate, piezoresistive accelerometers, programmable sampling rates, time-synchronization capability for minimum 4 DAQs, standalone recording functionality, real-time streaming, and NIST calibration traceability; 42 six-channel sensor cable assemblies (2 feet maximum length); 84 three-channel sensor extension cables (10-25 feet length); 84 triaxial piezoresistive accelerometers with 7-inch cables, IP67 rating, and NIST traceability; 9 DS-4 racks capable of downloading minimum 4 DAQs simultaneously; and 10 interface device cable kits including ethernet modules, power supplies, and synchronization connectors. All items must be new equipment only with no refurbished or used equipment accepted. The procurement includes benchstock quantities at 15 percent for replacement parts on applicable line items. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Responses must include individual line item pricing plus total cost with separate delivery line items if applicable. Contractors must be able to obtain military installation access with proper documentation and identification.
