About this file
This file is a Vendor Questions and Requiring Activity Answers document for solicitation MICC-FH-033557, addressing clarifications on the Shock Data Recorder and Accelerometers procurement. The requiring activity confirmed this is a new contract with no incumbent predecessor. The procurement is not aircraft control-related and requires new equipment only; no refurbished or used items will be accepted. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, with vendors required to price each item individually and provide separate line items for delivery costs if applicable.
A critical specification confirmed in the Q&A is the mandatory IP67 rating for the devices, which is absolutely required due to environmental factors associated with Aerial Delivery operations. Vendors must provide proper paperwork and identification to gain access to the military installation for delivery. Responses should include "SHOCK RECORDS - MICC-FH-033557 - (COMPANY NAME)" in the subject line and follow the purchase description for all specified items and quantities.
