About this file
This Purchase Description Document outlines a solicitation (W50S8525QA006) for an overhead door replacement project at Selfridge Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Building 190. The project requires complete removal and replacement of a 12'W x 14'T overhead door and operator, with specific technical requirements including a rolling steel, insulated, flat slat door with vision lights, wind locks, and a galvanized door cowl/hood. The replacement door must be color-matched to the existing door, necessitating a site visit.
Additional key project specifications include a 115V, right-side drive operator to be wired by the contractor, a new operation switch with constant pressure down functionality, and complete replacement of all door seals. The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary equipment, removing the existing door, and properly disposing of materials off-base (except for the old operator, which must be turned over to the government). A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 3 April 2025 at 2pm EST, with base access requiring submission of a request form at least 3 days prior. The government anticipates funds will become available no later than 30 September 2025, and the project will be managed by the Department of the Army Michigan Army National Guard.
