About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Northwest Florida Water Management District in Florida for the renewal of an annual Aquarius Time Series Server software license and support agreement. The District seeks to procure licensing and maintenance support for multiple AQUARIUS software products, including AQUARIUS Time-Series, Hydrometric Workstation, Workstation, Server, WebPortal, Connect, Cloud, Forecast, Samples, and EnviroSCADA, along with associated Support and Maintenance Agreements (SMA) that provide access to the 360 Support Portal, software updates and upgrades, and technical support. The contract term is one year, with the posting date of January 8, 2026, and the last day for receipt of information is January 30, 2026. The request was submitted by the IT Bureau under the direction of Danny Layfield, Director of Asset Management, and was approved by agency leadership including the Executive Director and Chief of Staff.
The estimated contract value is $85,917.69 for the one-year term. The District has designated Aquatic Informatics as the sole source vendor, justified by the fact that Aquatic Informatics is the copyright owner of the AQUARIUS software and the only authorized agent licensed to provide software licenses and support for this technology. The justification affirms that no competitive alternatives exist for this proprietary software solution. The contact for this procurement is Danny Layfield, Director of Asset Management, located at 81 Water Management Drive, Havana, Florida 32333, and the internal tracking number is 26S-002.
