About this file

This is a Proposer RFP Checklist document for the City of Santa Monica, California, providing guidance to prospective bidders on submitting proposals for audio-visual enhancements to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium at the Santa Monica Public Library located at 601 Santa Monica Boulevard. The checklist emphasizes the importance of reviewing the entire RFP document, identifying mandatory requirements and critical deadlines, and attending any pre-proposal conferences offered by the City. Prospective proposers are instructed to submit questions during the designated question-and-answer period, review all formal addenda posted on the City's OpenGov online vendor portal, and ensure compliance with all specified submission formats and requirements. The document stresses that proposals will be evaluated solely on the information and materials provided by the respondent and that late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

The checklist requires proposers to acknowledge receipt of all issued addenda with signed documentation and to conduct a comprehensive final review of the RFP document before submission to ensure all requirements have been addressed. Proposers must note all dates and times listed on the front page of the RFP document and submit all required items by the specified deadline. The checklist serves as an administrative guide to facilitate proper proposal preparation and submission for the audio-visual design, furnish, install, program, and commission project at the MLK Auditorium.
