About this file
The document is a detailed scope of work for conference room audiovisual (AV) installations for the City of Pittsburgh, covering multiple municipal buildings including police stations, administrative offices, and other city facilities. The project involves installing various sizes of TVs (ranging from 55" to 86") with Logitech Meetup and Rally conferencing equipment in approximately 20 different rooms across the city. Each installation requires mounting TVs at specific heights, running HDMI and USB cables, installing raceways for power, mounting cameras and microphones, and ensuring user-friendly connection points for laptops. The installations include both wall-mounted and cart-based configurations, with specific requirements for each room such as camera placement, cable management, and connection types.
The project utilizes a mix of equipment including Dell Optiplex Micro computers, Logitech Meetup and Rally conferencing kits, ActionTech ScreenBeam devices, and Vizio Smart TVs. Each room has unique specifications, with most requiring a 15' flat plug extension cord, Panduit LD5 raceway, and various cable and connection accessories. The installations are primarily focused on creating efficient, user-friendly conference room technology environments across different city departments, including police stations, administrative offices, and shared conference spaces. The scope of work indicates a comprehensive technology upgrade approach, with careful attention to specific room layouts, existing infrastructure, and user needs.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK
Small or Medium Conference Rooms with Logitech Meetup
• Customer is providing TV and Logitech Meetup Conferencing Equipment, with TV mount and equipment mounting brackets.
• install TV mount onto wall and hang the TV (top of TV will be mounted at 72” AFF for most of these rooms)
• run an HDMI and a USB cable from the TV location to terminate at a faceplate location below the TV, at outlet height.
• vendor will install a raceway on the wall that will house an extension cord to provide power to the TV location for camera and TV power.
• vendor will run an HDMI and a USB cable from the faceplate location below the TV, across the floor, to the table for user connections.
• vendor will install a “speed bump” floor cover to protect the cables across the floor and this will be taped down to the carpet to reduce tripping hazard.
• vendor will attach HDMI and USB cables to the table at a common point so users can easily access them to plug in laptops - there are no holes in the tables so the table connections will run from a common attachment point underneath the table to the top of the table.
• vendor will make all necessary connections and test for functionality.
Large Conference Rooms w/Logitech Rally Kit
• Customer is providing TV and Logitech Rally Kit Conferencing Equipment w/ceiling mic pods, with TV mount and equipment mounting brackets.
• vendor will install TV mount onto wall and hang the TV (top of TV will be mounted at 80-84” AFF for most of these rooms)
• vendor will mount speakers next to the TV on either side of the wall.
• vendor will mount the camera underneath the TV unless otherwise specified.
• vendor will mount Display Hub behind TV
• vendor will run microphone cable from Display Hub location to ceiling or table location.
• vendor will mount ceiling mics in ceiling tiles, one in front and one in rear of the room or at either end of the table.
• vendor will run a cat 6 cable from the TV location to the table location for connection from Display Hub to Table Hub
• vendor will install a raceway on the wall that will house an extension cord to provide power to the TV location for camera and TV power.
• vendor will mount Table Hub under table and extend USB and HDMI connections to tabletop for user connections.
