About this file

This file is a project site map document supporting an RFP issued by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Water Supply Protection for photovoltaic panel installation. The document clarifies site access procedures for bidders and contractors, noting that while 301 Boylston Street is a general address associated with the project site, the actual gate entrance is located further south across from the courthouse, marked as "Boat Cove Gate Entrance" on the accompanying map. The gate is secured and requires access authorization from the agency. This guidance is critical for site visits, inspections, and eventual installation work, as contractors must use the correct entrance point to access the project location.

The document does not specify contract pricing, set-asides, or other financial terms, as it serves purely as a directional and logistical aid for the broader procurement process. Interested bidders should reference the primary RFP documentation for details regarding photovoltaic equipment specifications, material requirements, installation scope, pricing submission instructions, and the July 31, 2026 bid submission deadline via Commbuys. Site access coordination should be arranged with DCR/DWSP prior to any site visits to ensure proper entry procedures are followed.

Text version

Please note that the address 301 Boylston Street will take you to a different entrance to the project site. The gate entrance for the project site is located slightly further south and across from the courthouse (please see map below with pin titled Boat Cove Gate Entrance). The gate is locked so we will provide access.
