PURCHASE DESCRIPTION

HC-130J Paratroop Door and Integrated Armor with Spring-loaded Counter Balance System

16 November 2020

1.0 DESCRIPTION. The Contractor shall provide to the AFLCMC/WIUKA Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (SOF/PR) Fixed Wing Section, Robins Air Force Base, all materials and parts necessary in support of the HC-130J Paratroop Bubble Door modification effort. The modification kit for the HC-130J Paratroop Door will include Integrated Armor with Spring-loaded Counter Balance system. There will be a quantity of twenty-eight (28) ship sets. Each ship set the contractor shall provide the following:

AS-6R Door Retract Installation Kit (LH & RH) (includes 4" Negator, Catch Lever, and Door Electrical Routing)

Airdyne SABIR Door Configuration

AS-6 NIJ Level IIIA Door Armor Ship Set (Window IIIA LH & RH)

Other SABIR Components FS737 Post Mod Installation Kit (LH & RH) Other Components Door Armor Spare Set

All wedge anchors, bolts, nuts, washers, screws and other associated hardware shall be supplied with the kits (to include all above needed for government installation).

2.0 CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENTS LIST (CDRL)

2.1 The contractor shall submit to AFLCMC/WIUA a monthly status report to include, but not limited to, status of the kits. [CDRL A001, DI-MGMT-80368A, Monthly Status Report]

3.0 SHIPPING/TRANSPORTATION. The Contractor shall ship the kits by traceable means to the location specified in the contract. The Contractor shall use best commercial practices that are most advantageous to the Government. OEM components shall be shipped directly to the responsible units. Ship-to addresses will be provided by the Units as the kits are completed.

3.1 PACKAGING. The Contractor shall package and mark material in accordance with the contract/order Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Form 158, Packaging Requirements, and applicable Government regulations. The Contractor shall ensure that classified material is packaged, marked and delivered in accordance with DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
