About this file
This is a Price Increase/Decrease Instructions document for a Small Order Purchase issued by the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Deck Scale Maintenance (Bid# B2728091). The contract term runs from Date of Award (DOA) through June 30, 2027, with the initial service period set for twelve months. Following the initial twelve-month period, the City has the option to renew the contract on an annual basis for up to three additional one-year renewal periods, extending the potential contract duration to four years total.
Pricing adjustments are permitted for renewal periods subject to specific conditions and limitations. The successful seller must submit written notice of any price increase to Michelle Simmons (michelle.simmons@phila.gov) at least thirty days prior to the expiration of each contract period, with the notice required by June 1st to be effective on the first day of the renewal period. Price increases must be based on the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers - Philadelphia (All Items) as published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, as indicated in the Mid-Atlantic CPI Announcement for April of the applicable renewal year. However, price increases are capped at 4 percent per renewal period, with the actual increase reflecting whichever is less: the CPI change or the 4 percent maximum. Price decreases may be submitted to the City in writing at any time during the contract period or renewal periods. Failure to provide written notice within the thirty-day window results in prices remaining unchanged from the previous contract period.
