This document is a Notice to Prospective Bidders for a federal highway project located in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The solicitation (No. 69056726R000002) involves rehabilitation work on the Gardner River High Bridge along the Grand Loop Road, with specific tasks including installing containment systems around steel truss sections, removing lead-based paint, painting the structure, replacing concrete approach spans, installing deep patches, constructing concrete guardwalls, replacing bridge joints, applying an epoxy overlay on the bridge deck, and paving bridge approaches.

The project is scheduled for the winter of 2025/2026, with solicitation documents to be available on SAM.gov. Prospective bidders are advised to view the project during fall due to potential snow access limitations after November 1, 2025. A special notice indicates that all construction vehicles and equipment must undergo a weed inspection by Park personnel, and all material sources must be certified as free from noxious and invasive plants. Technical questions should be emailed to wfl.plansspec@dot.gov, and general questions can be directed to wfl.contracts@dot.gov or 360-619-7520.
