About this file

This is a Pre-Bid Virtual Tour Guide for the 2025 Lehigh Road Phase X and Scranton Phase IV AML (Abandoned Mine Land) Project issued by the North Dakota Public Service Commission. The project involves drilling and grouting activities across two site locations, with a performance period from May 19 to August 8, 2025. The bid opening is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. Central Time, with a bid bond or cashier's check requirement of 5%. Potential contractors must complete a pre-construction workshop, provide utility locates, manage dust control, and follow specific work plans for drilling, grout pumping, and site access road installation. The project requires detailed documentation, including daily drill logs and grout injection forms.

The contract includes specific requirements for material testing, with a Material Testing Contractor responsible for aggregate gradations, concrete strength testing, structural surveys, and on-site documentation. Contractors must coordinate closely with the project manager and material testing team, providing timely notifications and maintaining precise records. Payment terms are structured with invoices submitted on the 1st and 15th of each month, with payments processed on the 10th and 25th. The project emphasizes careful ground movement monitoring, especially near roads, railroads, and structures, with work to be halted if any movement is detected. No additional compensation will be provided for increased expenses or unexpected field conditions, and all project quantities are considered estimates.
