About this file
This document is a Solicitation Amendment 2 issued by the North Dakota Public Service Commission for the 2025 Lehigh Road Phase X and Scranton Phase IV Material Testing AML Project. The solicitation, with number 408.25.03.002, seeks material testing services for abandoned mine land (AML) reclamation near Dickinson and Scranton. The bid deadline is set for April 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, with the solicitation originally issued on March 7, 2025. The amendment specifically addresses a bidder's question regarding payment and performance bonds, clarifying that these bonds are held until project completion to ensure subcontractor payment and contract compliance.
The amendment provides transparency in the procurement process by addressing potential bidder inquiries about bond handling. While the document does not detail specific pricing or funding sources, it indicates that the project involves material testing for underground lignite coal mine reclamation. The North Dakota Public Service Commission maintains strict oversight of the bonding process, ensuring contractor accountability and proper project execution. The solicitation suggests a comprehensive approach to managing the AML project, with a focus on maintaining financial protections and contractual integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
