5. QUESTIONS
Question: Was reviewing the drawings and I noticed that the surface asphalt is SM-9.5E which is a high polymer type asphalt liquid that requires a PG-76-22 type liquid asphalt. Typically, on projects of this nature your firm normally specifies SM-9.5A. In order for us to place SM-9.5E will have to buy an entire tanker of PG-76-22 liquid and include it in this project that I think takes about a quarter of a tractor trailer load. Can you please review this and change to SM-9.5A?
Answer: SM-9.5A is acceptable for this project.
