NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), Division of Vector-Borne Diseases (DVBD), intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Colorado State University, Conference & Event Services (CSU CES), Fort Collins, Colorado, to provide conference and event management services in support of Vector Week 2026.
The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain integrated conference and event services, including meeting space, event planning and coordination, registration management, audio/visual support, and onsite logistical support necessary to successfully conduct Vector Week 2026, a biennial grantee and recipient meeting hosted by CDC. The conference is scheduled to be held in Fort Collins, Colorado, March 11–13, 2026.
This contract action is being pursued as a sole source acquisition under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Source Reasonably Available. All responses received by January 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
