About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for an FBI solicitation for custom retirement plaques. The Q&A covers detailed specifications for FBI service anniversary emblems, keys, and plaques, including precise measurements, materials, and manufacturing requirements. Key specifications include die-struck copper emblems with matte antique gold plating, die cast zinc laurel wreaths, and clear stone details for 30- and 35-year anniversary items.

The solicitation is structured as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with one base year and four option years, targeting small businesses. Estimated monthly order quantities range from 50-120 plaques, totaling approximately 1,400 plaques annually. Vendors can submit quotes via email to Lily Calvert by 12:00pm EST/EDT on 7/25/2025, with NET30 payment terms. The government allows modest pricing escalations for option years and potential material substitutions with prior approval. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov and provide a UEID, and direct shipment via secure carriers is acceptable.
