About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Grand Bay Range Pop-Up Targets and Control System Acquisition project at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.
The contractor must deliver nineteen (19) new pop-up targets designed to mirror the existing ATA "PIT" target form factor and size for seamless integration into current protected target berms. All target components must be exclusively battery-powered. The contractor shall also provide two (2) battery-powered control tablets/pads for range tower operator use and three (3) battery-powered hand-held controllers for maintenance personnel. The control software must enable accurate scoring and reporting of target hits, control of background lighting effects, selection and triggering of simulated return gunfire indication modes, and real-time reporting and monitoring of target battery power levels. Additionally, the contractor must establish a dependable wireless long-range communications network with a minimum two-mile range between the range tower and target placement areas, with all targets fully functional and controllable at target locations. Communications network components may be solar-powered or battery-powered.
The contractor must provide system upgrade options and required hardware/software to ensure compatibility between newly provided targets and existing on-hand ATA pop-up targets and chassis. The SOW requires comprehensive maintenance and operations training covering routine operations, system troubleshooting, battery/solar maintenance, and software utilization for designated Grand Bay Range personnel. All hardware delivery, installation, and training shall take place at Grand Bay Range, Moody AFB, Georgia. The deliverables include nineteen new targets, two range tower controllers, three maintenance controllers, one lot of wireless communications network components, one lot of legacy upgrade packages, and one training session.
