About this file
This document is a detailed procedural guide for accessing and utilizing various state information systems to conduct Title IV-E eligibility determinations for child welfare cases in Illinois. The guide provides step-by-step instructions for accessing multiple computer systems including CYCIS, SACWIS, PACIS, IES, and others, with specific details on logging in, navigating screens, searching for case information, and printing relevant documents.
The document outlines a comprehensive approach to gathering required information for Title IV-E eligibility, including criteria such as age (eligible until 21), judicial findings, citizenship status, residency, specified relative requirements, removal from home, financial need, and parental deprivation. It includes a detailed "Order of Documents" table that specifies which documents to collect for different aspects of the case, such as initial applications, court orders, income verification, investigation summaries, and integrated assessments. The guide is designed to help child welfare workers systematically collect and verify the necessary information to determine a child's eligibility for Title IV-E funding and support.
