About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for dredging services. The U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit in Miami is seeking to dredge the boat basin and access channel at the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team facility in Dulac, Louisiana to the limits shown on the reference drawings. Hydraulic dredging is the only dredging method permitted under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit. The amendment provides responses to requests for information clarifying that survey data will not be provided, but the contractor must comply with state underground utility locate requirements and that a temporary access road can be constructed to the spoil area. Proposals are due by September 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time and the contractor will be responsible for site restoration after completion of dredging.
