About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) update from the Division of Correctional Industries, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), regarding IFB No. 1092 for the procurement of Pillow Batting. The IFB contract period is from May 1, 2018, to April 30, 2020. The update provides a change to the detailed specifications, requiring each batting to be individually packaged in poly/plastic bags, with 20 bags per cardboard carton. All other terms and conditions of the original IFB remain unchanged.
The update specifies that cartons shall contain only one size of batting and be labeled with the purchase order number, size, quantity, and lot number. Cartons must meet industry standards to protect the batting from damage or soiling during shipping and handling, and no metal banding, bag closers, or staples are allowed. Vendors must sign and submit the Purchasing Memorandum as part of their bid response.
