About this file
The document is an announcement from the Division of Industries' (Corcraft) Purchasing team regarding their new online vendor bidder system. Corcraft is seeking vendors to supply them with needed commodities, services, and technology contracts to support their mission of employing inmates within the Correctional Industries workshops around New York State. The new online system allows vendors to register for automatic email notifications of bid opportunities, browse and search for Invitation for Bids (IFB) and Contract Awards, and view current bids by bid opening date. Vendors can view and download bid documents, but must submit paper bids as electronic submissions are not yet acceptable in New York State.
The document also states that there is no subscription fee to access the website or register for automatic email bid notifications. Vendors without an active email address can request paper copies of specific bids. Corcraft encourages all interested vendors to register for the automatic email notifications to ensure they receive announcements of bid opportunities.

Vendor Bidder Info
The Division of Industries’ (Corcraft) Purchasing team is pleased to announce that we have a new online vendor bidder system available on our website at www.corcraft.org.
Just click on the “Vendor Bidder Info” link, then at the next page click on “Register for Bid Notification,” and follow the instructions. You may click on as many bid categories as you wish. Upon completion, you will receive an email directing you to go back into the website to confirm your registration. Only after you have confirmed your registration will you be officially registered. Once you are registered, you will receive automatic email notifications whenever a bid document is available for download.
There is no subscription fee to access this web page or to register for automatic email bid notifications. This is the place to be if you are a vendor who is interested in supplying us with our needed commodities, services and technology contracts, thereby allowing Corcraft to maintain and sustain our mission of employing inmates within the Correctional Industries workshops around the State.
Corcraft will be using this website to announce all current Central Office bid opportunities, allow vendors to register for automatic emails of bid notifications, as well as browse/search for Invitation for Bids (IFB) and Contract Awards. Vendors will also be able to view current bids available by bid opening date (known as a bid calendar).
This system enables us to expand our reach to potential bidders while at the same time, saving time and natural resources by eliminating our paper-based mailings. If your company does not have an active email address available, you are welcome to send a request for paper copy of a specific bid(s) of interest to the attention of Corcraft Purchasing Team via fax at (518)434-7434 or mail.
You may view bids online or download them onto your own computer. If you are interested in submitting a bid, simply print a copy of the bid, complete the bid documents as required and mail/fax it to us. Electronic submissions of bids are not yet acceptable in New York State.
All bid documents are available for general public viewing whether you are registered or not; but we strongly recommend that you “Register for Bid Notification.” By registering, you are ensured of receiving automatic email announcements of bid opportunities.
Please feel free to contact us anytime with any questions or concerns regarding the Vendor Bidder Info, procurement procedures, or related procurement questions, at bids@corcraft.org.
