About this file
This document is a photo set documenting a roof replacement project for the Cape Cod Canal administration building. The photographs showcase the existing building's roof conditions and previous roof replacement work from 2011, detailing specific areas requiring renovation. Key replacement components include:
The roof replacement scope involves multiple roof systems: asphalt shingle roofing for the main roof and window dormers, and a fully adhered 90-mil EPDM roof system for the flat roof section. Additional work includes replacing (3) exhaust fans, installing new perimeter flashing, chimney flashing, and new aluminum gutters, downspouts, and PVC trim boards. The project requires removing existing roofing materials, installing tapered insulation, cover board, fasteners, pressure-treated nailers, and ensuring proper water-tightness across all roof surfaces. The building appears to be a white, multi-section administrative facility located near water, with multiple roof configurations and architectural elements.
