About this file
This document appears to be a draft solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) for food service at a VA Domiciliary facility. The contract requires preparing and serving meals for up to 61 Residents, with all food prepared off-site except beverages. Key requirements include serving meals in a cafeteria setting, providing all serving ware (disposable plates, 16-oz cups, utensils), and following specific meal service protocols. The current contract holder is Admiral's Experience, Inc., and the solicitation emphasizes that there is no guaranteed minimum number of meals.
The VA Atlanta Healthcare System will provide PPE for contract staff, but the contractor is responsible for additional PPE and disposable gloves. No site visit will be conducted, and photos will be provided instead. The contractor must furnish all licenses and permits with their quote. Meals are exclusively for Domiciliary Residents, and no accounting or cashier services are needed. The VA expects offerors to provide their own pricing based on the Performance Work Statement requirements, with no predetermined budget disclosed. The maximum daily resident census is 61, and meal counts will be provided by the facility by 3pm the day before service.
