About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the procurement of an incubation chiller system. The agency is seeking bids for a 60 gallon per minute incubation chiller system with a 10-degree Fahrenheit drop chilled water system and a cooling tower. The requested quantity is 1 unit, with a required delivery date no later than the close of business on June 30, 2025. The RFQ specifies the minimum technical specifications for the chiller system, including compressor, refrigerant, water tank, pump, and cooling tower requirements. Payment terms are net 30 days upon satisfactory delivery and acceptance.

The RFQ indicates that for contracts valued under $150,000, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from a Small Business or Veteran-Owned Business, unless none of these businesses are responsible and responsive. For contracts valued at $150,000 or more, a 5% bid preference will be given to any responsive and responsible bid from a Small Business or Veteran-Owned Business. The RFQ also notes requirements related to the Build America, Buy America Act for federally funded projects.
