About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for an incubation chiller system to be delivered to the Marblemount Hatchery. The amendment provides responses to questions regarding the minimum water temperature, minimum operating load, purpose of the containerized system, and the acceptability of an FRP tank in place of the 200-gallon stainless steel tank. The amendment also clarifies that the cooling tower is intended to minimize the amount of water used for the chiller unit.
The RFQ is seeking bids for the incubation chiller system, which will be installed by WDFW at the Marblemount Hatchery. The project is located in Skagit County, Washington. The amendment does not provide any information on the quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder's meetings, award dates, or the term of the contract.

Q -What is the minimum water temperature required for the incubation system. A-Minimum temperature would be: 37 degrees F Q- Maximum operating load willb e 60gpm @10F DeltaT. What will be the minimum operating load? (60GPM @ _____Delta) A-Min. operating load is 6gpm @ 10F Delta-T Q-What is the purpos of the containerized system? Outdoor exposure concerns, transportability, etc? A-The purpose of the containerized system is to protect it from the elements, noise reduction and for consolidation.
