About this file
This Performance Inspection Checklist is an exhibit supporting a janitorial services contract opportunity issued by the Florida Department of Commerce for the Caldwell Building located at 107 E Madison Street, Tallahassee, Florida. The document outlines two service schedules: dayporter services and nightly services. Dayporter services include cleaning all restrooms daily with sanitization of toilets, walls, doors, sinks, countertops, and floors; refilling dispensers for hand towels, toilet tissue, seat covers, soap, and sanitizers; cleaning public areas including lounges, breakrooms, lobbies, and conference rooms at minimum daily; cleaning elevator cab interiors and exteriors at least three times weekly; washing and sterilizing drinking fountains daily; and emptying outdoor waste and recycling containers daily while removing debris from landscaping areas around entrances. Nightly services encompass emptying and disposing of waste and recycling from desk areas, cubicles, breakrooms, lobbies, and elevator landings; vacuuming carpeted areas on a rotating schedule (one floor per night); dust mopping all hard surface flooring nightly and wet mopping at minimum three times weekly; and cleaning and disinfecting all restroom fixtures nightly with floor sweeping and mopping.
The checklist does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding amounts, response deadlines, or contract duration. The document serves primarily as a performance standard and inspection guide to establish the scope and frequency of custodial work required at the Caldwell Building facility, organized by day of the week and service category to ensure comprehensive facility maintenance.
