About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a marquee sign upgrade project for Luke Air Force Base (AFB) in Arizona. The project involves replacing three Electronic Message Center (EMC) signs at different base locations: Lightning Gate, Club 56, and South Gate. Each sign will be a 3' x 9' 10mm display with broadband communication, cloud-based software, and a minimum 5-year warranty. The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for sign replacement, including electrical work such as wire replacement, circuit breaker installation, and final voltage checks.
The solicitation (FA488725Q0022) is a Request for Quote (RFQ) with key dates including a pre-proposal site visit on 6/24/2025, a Request for Information deadline of 6/25/2025, and a quote submission deadline of 7/3/2025. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated price meeting acceptability standards. The project is managed by the 56th Fighter Wing Public Affairs, with Capt Charis Bryan as the Project Manager. Notably, the government indicates that funds are not currently available, and they reserve the right to cancel the solicitation. The total project timeline for purchase and installation is 180 days from contract award.
