PBGC01-RP-14-0010 Sarasota – QUESTIONS #2

QUESTION RESPONSE

11 Pg. 21, Section C.31 states “On a case-by-case basis, PBGC may determine if it is in the best interest of the government that maintenance of a plan remains at the Contractor site.” Please clarify “contractor site.”

The contractor site is the Sarasota site of the FBA.

12 Pg. 22, Section C.35.1 states “Where applicable, the contractor shall provide oversight, daily operation and maintenance of the PBGC Alternate Facility, in accordance with PBGC Policies and Procedures.”

Can the government please clarify what is expected by the phrase “operation and maintenance”, or provide the PBGC Policies and Procedures. Also, where is the location of the Alternate facility?

This paragraph describes the requirements of the facility set up for continuity of essential operations in the event of an emergency. It is expected that the contractor will continue daily operations at an alternate facility designated by the government which will be determined at the time of a catastrophic event.

13 Pg. 38, Section F.7.1 Please clarify if the location of the designated government representative office will be on-site at PBGC or off-site at a Contractor’s facility?
