About this file

This file is a presentation for an industry day briefing related to the U.S. Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) Aviation Training and Technical Assistance Related Services contract opportunity. The presentation outlines SATMO's mission to provide security assistance training and technical support to partner nations worldwide, with a focus on aviation capabilities including maintenance, flight operations, and training.

The briefing details SATMO's organizational structure, footprint across 21 countries, and Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) concept covering both flight operations and maintenance operations. Key requirements include providing rotary wing training, maintenance instruction, and technical assistance through a 12-person TAFT composition of contractors including instructor pilots, maintenance test pilots, and various maintenance specialists. The contract will be a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with an estimated ceiling of $249M, a 5-year base period starting May 2027 with potential 5-year extension. Industry day is scheduled for February 3, 2025, with capability statements due by January 9, 2025 at 3pm EST. The opportunity uses NAICS code 611512 with a $34M small business size standard, and will primarily involve OCONUS performance under potentially austere conditions.
