About this file
This amendment to a federal solicitation provides additional details for an upcoming contract opportunity for preventive maintenance and repair services of air conditioning chillers at Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Buchanan will issue a firm-fixed price solicitation seeking a small business to provide labor, equipment, supplies and other items to perform preventive maintenance procedures and repairs on chillers and related HVAC equipment at various buildings. The requirement is set aside entirely for small businesses. The response due date is extended to September 7, 2020 by this amendment. It also addresses vendor questions by providing additional photos and details about the chillers, cooling towers, water treatment and maintenance scope. No site visits, bid bonds or performance bonds are required.
