The project involves creating an exhibit in an 800 sq. ft. temporary gallery on the museum's third floor, with a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) service contract. Vendors must be located within 75 miles of Fort Belvoir, VA, and are required to provide company details, CAGE code, SAM UEI, and past government contract experience in exhibit services.
Key project dates include a target award date of 22 September 2025, a period of performance from 01 October 2025 to 01 June 2026, and a final installation completion date of 01 June 2026. The RFI specifies that no GSA schedule will be used, no bond is required, but insurance covering potential damage to historic artifacts is mandatory. Wage regulations will be in effect, and the contract will be a standalone agreement. Vendors must submit responses electronically to the Contract Specialist, Stephanie Pajot, by 25 August 2025 at 11:00 AM EST, with all questions due by 21 August 2025.
