This document is a quarterly health report detailing preventive maintenance procedures for video teleconference (VTC) systems in multiple conference rooms across Buildings 2202 and 4120 at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The comprehensive maintenance checklist covers extensive technical inspections for each room, including testing mounted displays, conference room table connections, audio conference functionality, microphone systems, VTC equipment, camera functions, PC connections, equipment racks, Crestron touch panels, MS Teams compatibility, and firmware updates.
The maintenance protocol requires technicians to systematically verify equipment functionality, clean components, test audio/video connections, check cable integrity, assess software versions, and report any worn or damaged equipment. Each room's specific maintenance routine follows a nearly identical protocol with slight variations based on room-specific equipment configurations. The document represents a critical component of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command's (ATEC) broader VTC maintenance strategy, which seeks to ensure reliable communication infrastructure across fourteen conference rooms at the Aberdeen Proving Ground installation in Maryland.
