This is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of six commercially heavy armored sedans for the Department of the Army. The requirement calls for high-end, armored vehicles meeting VPAM BRV 2009 VR6/CEN B6 certification standards, specifically designed for qualified members of the Armed Forces and DoD civilian employees requiring continuous security protection. The vehicles must be black, dark-grey, or dark blue sedans with specific technical specifications including a 6-liter turbocharged 12-cylinder gasoline engine, automatic transmission, law enforcement package, intercom system, fire suppression system, and run-flat tires.
The solicitation is a competitive, firm-fixed price procurement with a maximum unit price of $450,000, requiring delivery within 180 days after contract award. Responses are due by December 26, 2025, at 12:00 noon CET, with the contract to be awarded through SAM.gov. The vehicles must meet German and NATO country requirements, include a comprehensive warranty and maintenance service, and be manufactured or assembled with OEM products. Interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and capable of meeting stringent security and customization requirements, with potential for negative past performance evaluation if compliance standards are not met.
