About this file

This is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements document for Purchase Instrument Number FD20602600107-02, Version 1, generated on 22 April 2026.

The document specifies packaging and marking requirements for four items under the military procurement system. All items must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1 (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) and MIL-STD-129 (Standard Practice for Military Marking). The first three items—designated PACRN AAA, AAB, and AAC—require "MIL Long Line Packaging" at Preservation Level MIL and Packaging Level B, with specific unit pack dimensions and weights provided for each. Item AAA (6130015357275UC) has unit pack dimensions of 21.0 x 15.0 x 9.3 inches with a cube of 1.695, Item AAB (5998015998130UC) measures 12.5 x 8.3 x 3.0 inches with a cube of 0.180, and Item AAC (5998016660869UC) has dimensions of 12.5 x 8.3 x 3.0 inches with a cube of 0.180. A critical requirement applies to all wood packaging material (WPM), including pallets, crates, and dunnage: all lumber must be debarked and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes minimum, with certification from an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC), in compliance with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 15. The fourth item (PACRN AAD, 5998DTL2600DAUC) requires no packaging data. Shipping containers must include additional marking and bar coding as specified on the AFMC Form 158, including unit serial numbers and original equipment manufacturer information. The packaging specialist Richard J. Holmes of 406 SCMS/GULAA approved these requirements.
