About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form for a federal contract related to the remanufacture of T-38 Anti-Ice Control components. The packaging requirements specify detailed standards for wooden packaging materials, including heat treatment to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes and debarking to prevent invasive species transmission. The document covers multiple items with specific packaging instructions, including item 1660008886350, which requires a unit pack with dimensions of 10.5 x 10.5 x 12.5 inches and a weight of 5.00 units.

The packaging instructions mandate compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1 for military packaging and MIL-STD-129 for military marking. Shipping containers must be marked according to these standards, with potential additional requirements such as unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer names, or model numbers. The document is version 2 and was generated on 08 Apr 2025, with packaging specialist Sean R. Cox from the 406 SCMS / GULAA office overseeing the requirements.
