PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS01038

TITLE: Rodeo Valley Stables Fire Protection TYPE: FFP Construction NAICS CODE: 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors

Synopsis:

The project includes the installation of both fire suppression sprinkler and alarm system for the Presidiio Riding Club and NPS Horse Stables locate at Rodeo Valley within the Golden Gate Recreation Area.

1.) The work consists of providing a new automatic water-based fire suppression system, buried and above ground distribution piping and other related items for complete coverage of a single story historic structure. The system shall be designed and installed in accordance with National Fire Protection Association codes and standard identified in this specification and National Park Service standards.

2.) The work of this project consists of installing/ upgrading a Class A Power Addressable, Power Limited, Combination Manual/ Automatic Fire Detection System and Burglar alarm. A set of as-builts will be provided prior to project completion to note changes. The installation of a complete Fire and Burglary system is required. This installation shall be accordance to the most current NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NEC, NEC, IBC, and IFC codes.

Offerors:

Please be advised of on-line registration requirements for the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certifications. To be eligible for contract award a firm must be registered in the SAM database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or by contacting the Service Desk, https://www.sam.gov/sam/helpPage/SAM_Reg_Status_Help_Page.html. Additionally, contractor’s SAM representations and certifications are required to be updated annually to keep information current, accurate and complete.

This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available to download on or about April 26, 2017 at: https://www.fbo.gov/ Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download not earlier than fifteen (15) days following the posting of this synopsis. Pursuant to FAR, the response date of the solicitation is no earlier than thirty (30) days from the date of the solicitation release date. The proposal due date will be noted on the solicitation at the time of issue.

Technical questions will not be addressed at this time. Technical questions will be addressed through an online system or email during the solicitation period. Copies of this solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents will be posted and made available for viewing at Fedbizopps https://www.fbo.gov/.

NOTE: There are no plans, specs, or drawings associated with this synopsis at this time. Any plans and specifications will be available for download on the Fedbizopps website ONLY. Compact disks or hard copies will not be sent out.

All amendments will be posted in FedConnect and Fedbizopps. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any amendments.
