INTRODUCTION
Bureau of Reclamation uniformed employees represent all employees collectively, and the public often forms opinions of an agency based on an individual’s appearance. Thus, to maintain high standards of appearance for employees (including volunteers), the following uniform guidelines have been established. The objectives of these guidelines are to:
• Easily provide an identifiable Reclamation appearance to the public.
• Set a Reclamation-wide standard for professional appearance.
Designated uniformed employees will wear the prescribed uniform items as depicted below. All other items of apparel, insignias, awards, etc., will not be worn unless authorized by the supervisor. Uniforms shall be complete, clean, neat, pressed, and in good condition. Each supervisor will ensure that employees on duty conform to Reclamation policy.
All Reclamation Service and Administrative uniforms will display the Reclamation Logotype, Offset Tagline and Reclamation Seal to complete the uniform. Each component will be Blue, Sand or White, shown on the Reclamation Visual Identity web site color palette as commercially available. All clothing listed is in solid color.

2. Employee union agreements; and
3. When feasible, Visual Identity guidelines.
Uniforms for maintenance employees should allow them to be easily identified by co-workers and the public.
A Maintenance uniform shirt is presently provided but is not a required component for all maintenance staff. There may be Seasonal staff utilizing items on this list in some offices.
