V. 08-19-2016 DB Government Furnished Materials
Attachment L: Government Furnished Materials
The Contractor shall receive all government-furnished materials (GFM) and inspect the materials to ensure that the quality is suitable for use in the exhibit. The Project Manager shall notify the COR immediately if GFM are not received in sufficient time to meet critical milestones, if damaged, or if use of the material as delivered would result in an unsatisfactory product.
The Contractor’s responsibility for storage and care of GFM is specified in Attachment A, Section 15, 15.9 Handling of Source Material; Section 18, 18.3 Artifact Stewardship; Section 30, 30.4 B(3) Artwork, 30.4 B(4) Government Furnished References, and 30.4 B(5) Samples.
All government materials furnished to the Contractor remain the property of the United States Government and shall be returned to the COR at the completion of the Contract unless other disposition is specifically authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer
Government materials will be furnished as specified below:
1. Electronic files containing revisions / addendums to Specifications documents listed in Contract Section C.3.A. will be furnished between award of the Contract and the date of postaward conference.
2. Graphic Production Files produced in Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud with high-resolution graphic images will be furnished as specified below:
A. 90% of all Graphic Production Files – End of December, 2016
B. Remaining 10% of Graphic Production Files – End of February, 2017
3. All audiovisual and electronic interactive programs specified in Attachment I, AV & IT Software Specification, will be furnished by the government as specified below.

Universal Access Items
AV-10-01 Audio Description Tour - AV-10-1 TBD – after exhibit opening
The audio description will be installed after the exhibit at a time TBD
4. Access to all artifacts (accessioned objects) specified in Attachment G, Accessioned Objects & Case Layouts, will be furnished by the government at the times coordinated and authorized by the COR, for purposes of inspection by the contractor’s mount maker, and for installation into exhibit cases by the contractor.
5. In close coordination with the Contractor, the government will furnish and install masonry and wood construction for the Creole House (exhibit element MR-3-02). The Contractor shall provide and install all internal structural steel supports for MR-3-02, and shall provide and install all other exhibit elements associated with MR-3-02.
6. In close coordination with the Contractor, the government will furnish and install all masonry, wood, and window elements making up the Old Rock House façade (exhibit element MR-6-02). The Contractor shall provide and install all internal structural steel supports for MR-6-02, and shall provide and install all other exhibit elements associated with MR-6-02.
7. 3D computer modeled files in SketchUp format will be furnished between award of the Contract and the date of the postaward conference, to be used as reference material by the Contractor in fabricating and installing exhibit element MR-6-01, Levee Model.
8. Four (4) historic cast iron columns will be furnished by the government on a schedule coordinated with the Contractor, for installation into exhibit element MR-6-12, Reconstructed Shop Front display, as described in Attachment F: Custom Elements List. Columns will be available for pick-up at JEFF in St Louis, MO. The Contractor shall prepare, refinish, provide mounts, and install the government furnished columns. The Contractor shall provide and install all other work and materials associated with the Shop Front Display.
9. One (1) conserved, historic cast-iron lamppost with working streetlight, including newly installed internal electrical wiring and lamp (JEFF acquisition #8932), will be furnished by the government on a schedule coordinated with the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide and install all additional Work as described in the specifications to mount the lamppost / streetlight and electrically connect it to the facility electrical supply (reference exhibit element AO-06.82-882).
10. Replica barrels, boxes and crates (MR-6-04) and broken tableware (MR-6-
07), as described in Attachment F: Custom Elements List, will be furnished by the government on a schedule coordinated with the Contractor. The Contractor shall refurbish the replica elements included in MR-6-04 to a like-new condition.
11. Original eye plate and drift pin from Eads Bridge will be furnished by the government on a schedule coordinated with the Contractor for installation into exhibit element PI-7-05. The Contractor shall provide and install all other exhibit elements associated with the eye plate and drift pin display.
