About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the delivery of a Sensory Boothless Audiometry system and components to the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Aurora, Colorado, with a delivery date of April 3, 2026.
The requirement specifies delivery of a MADSEN Astera 2 audiometry system (or equivalent) along with associated components including an ACP Astera 2 speaker system, CD Quicksin material, PMM tympanometry module, AuDX Pro FLEX diagnostic tympanometry, Bio-logic diagnostic DPOAE license, RE-VO2 video otoscope with cradle, and 250 pieces of 4mm single-use specula. The MADSEN Astera 2 system must feature dual channels with two-channel identical configuration, supporting multiple test modalities including tinnitus module, advanced audiometry options (TEN and SAL tests), and speech tests. Technical specifications require frequency ranges from 125 Hz to 20,000 Hz depending on the transducer type, accuracy of 0.3%, narrow band noise masking capabilities, sound level accuracy of ±3-5 dB depending on frequency range, level resolution options of 1, 2, or 5 dB steps, and hearing level ranges of 10-120 dB HL for air conduction and 10-80 dB HL for bone conduction. The contractor must furnish all necessary personnel, supplies, and equipment required for delivery. The SOW explicitly states the basis of design is the NATUS brand specification, establishing this as a brand name or equivalent requirement with detailed manufacturer part numbers provided for each component.
